A Curious Story

A while back I sorted through all the pictures on my phone and made a folder for a bunch of images I took as inspiration for art. Then, just yesterday I came across this picture and it spoke to me:

I don't remember where or why I took this picture but looking at it now, I can't help but imagine fantastical stories for this tree. Images of faerie folk using this spot as a hatch for their homes danced through my head. It makes me really want to go on a magical adventure. Alas, I shall have to settle for watching Lord of the Rings for the 100th time. Take this as a note that you can find inspiration and fascinations anywhere.
