A Fun Side-Quest

Last week I wrote a long blog on goals. The reason why is that recently there is a fun mission I have set for myself to complete in my free time or to do in the background while I make my art. My family has always been big on movies. One of our favorite family activities was to pop some popcorn and watch a movie with my parents, grandparents (they lived next to us in the same townhouse growing up), and siblings. Being conscious of finances, my parents tended to wait to watch new movies until they came out to video (and later to DVD). They also bought video copies of movies they enjoyed from before I was born. So by the time I was old enough to make memories, we had stacks of VHS tapes and a small shelf of DVDs. Now, the collection is most likely in the hundreds of DVDs. I have watched many of them but in recent years have distracted myself with other activities, so there are many movies we own that I have never seen. So, I had the thought the other day that it would be fun to try and watch all of them that we own. before this, I do have a small list of movies my friends have over the years told me I have to watch. I have gone through half the list, so after I will start on the collection. This will be a nice thing to try as I am always looking for background shows and movies to have while I do my comics and other art. Wheeee.
