Life has been crazy since last time you heard from me. A lot of chaos was thrown into my life, and it was kind of like someone went and tied up my life into a tangle of knots. Every time I finished painstakingly undoing all of the knots, I look down and find another mess of them further down, or extra knots inside the mess that I didn't see at first.

While it is undoubtedly frustrating to go through that over and over, my hope is that it will make the conclusion even more satisfying when I reach it. And it hasn't been all bad. My hiatus has allowed me to take a breath or two in my comic process. Which in turn has lead to higher productivity. I've also been slowly working through personal goals I've set but neglected due to how busy I kept myself. With each day and extra goal completed, I feel more accomplished and closer to my end goals.

I know I've made this point in the past, but it's important to remind yourselves of your life's positives, even when your surrounded by negatives. Sometimes the negatives are objectively bigger than the positives, and that happens to the best of us. Good news is it's healthy to be concerned about the negatives, but we mustn't let the worries become obsessions. Remembering the positives (however small they might be) may help you in these times. Maybe it's a positive about something that's going right towards a goal of yours. Things like that help extra because having something positive to work on keeps your brain so busy it has no time to dwell on the negative. Or perhaps the positive is just remembering you have something good in your life. Or someone. If it's a someone an action you can do to start refocusing your brain is let them know how much you appreciate them.

Finding a solution is obviously easier said than done- I haven't even figured it out either. Writing all of this also serves as a reminder to me. Working on solutions requires time, effort and sometimes outside help. So another reminder for you and myself: it's okay to ask for help. It's okay if you need professional help. It doesn't mean you're broken or have less worth.

And remember if nothing else, Frank believes in you. He will deliver all the hugs and kisses you need. Don't question how a duck kisses, just know he does and it's very happy.

As always, remember to stay happy, healthy and safe my Jellybeans. I will see you next week- back from my hiatus!
