This week's comic and the one from two weeks ago are some close to my heart. Even though I'm in a weird state where these days I'm sort of an agnostic, Christmas holds a special place in my heart. It's not about God or Christ or celebrating religion to me. Instead it symbolizes love, warmth, kindness and the opportunity to gather with my family and just enjoy each other's company-- along with some good food. The artist in me also appreciates the aesthetics of the season. All the sparklies and shinies, and of course the aesthetics of winter as I mentioned in previous blogs (which is why it's my favorite season). I also try and respect those that don't feel the same way I do about the holiday, and choose to take occasions to learn a new perspective and what brings these people the same joy this season gives me. So these comics are above all a way to laugh at myself and acknowledge how much of a crazy person I sound like to those on the outside.

Now, to address the elephant in the room. I know in my blog about my last hiatus, I mentioned that I was taking the break to catch up to my backlog goal so I could start also working on my other projects. But as it turns out, two weeks was not enough time to recoup from the burn out I was having. So, apologies for taking yet another hiatus, but I'm hoping to come back revitalized so that I can continue to improve my content and amuse my readers like you. Thank you, as always for the support, and not to worry, there will be frank pictures weekly during the hiatus. Instead of full blown blogs I will share any thoughts about those sketches.

See you in a while my Jellybeans, and stay happy, healthy and safe.
