This week's comic pokes lighthearted fun at something that is all to common in the days of the internet. These people can be a bit over the top with their enthusiasm but this reminds me of something I have been slowly learning lately that will hopefully help me be okay with the "judgement" of others. Sometimes "judgement" isn't strictly that. Sometimes when actions differ from how the one perceiving them would act in a similar situation, it breaks their brains.

An example would be something like: person A has been for one reason or another told by the world that showing too much enjoyment is childish and being childish is always wrong for adolescence and adults (which person A is). Person B has never been forced to learn this, or doesn't care to follow it. So Person B comes across something that is objectively more impressive than something one would encounter in their day to day life. Person B of course reacts in big ways, getting overly excited and going on and on about how cool the experience is. This goes against everything person A knows, so their gut reactions is shock, confusion and a little curiosity at the very least. Sometimes, yes, there is judgement- but sometimes this judgement comes from the thought process of "hm that's not the way I was taught to handle that... how strange."

But please, don't let any potential judgement keep you from experiencing whimsy and ultimate joy. We need more wonder in this world not less. Stay happy, healthy and safe, my jellybeans!
