The Seasons

You know, most people prefer warm over cold. Even living in an area that gets plenty of snow other residents constantly moan about snow every time. And while I get it to an extent now that I have to shovel it off my driveway, sometimes at insanely early hours of the day to get to work on time; I also can't help but love winter.

This may be blasphemous to say in the middle of summer, but I prefer extreme cold over extreme heat. You have more clothing options as you can always put on more layers. If it's too hot, you can only get so naked. All the bugs die as well, which may seem sadistic, but they are a nuisance in my household. I also love cocoa and tea, and they just feel so much better when it's cold out.

There's also just something so pleasant about snow. It makes everything so peaceful and quiet. Freshly fallen snow looks so smooth and stretches on forever. The warm lights people have (especially around holidays) also reflect off of the snow so nicely.
